What are UV fluorescent tempers?
Temperas are a type of paint in which the solvent for the pigment is water and the binder.
In the case of fluorescent products, they absorb energy in the form of short-wave electromagnetic radiation and then emit it again at a longer wavelength.
In other words, when you want fluorescent temperas to shine, you turn off the lights and turn on the ultraviolet light. Clever! They will already be lighting up. UV fluorescent tempera in the absence of UV light will look like normal tempera.
In the case of phosphorescence, it is the phenomenon by which certain substances have the property of absorbing energy and storing it, to subsequently emit it in the form of radiation.
In other words, they are products that are previously recharged with light and when the light is turned off they will light up for a few minutes. You recharge it and it shines again. We have some fluorescent tempers that work like this.
Tips for using UV fluorescent tempers

- Another trick is to always add the darkest color at the end, it is easier to darken than to lighten and in this way much less paint is wasted.
- If you are going to paint large surfaces with fluorescent tempera, we advise you to optimize as much as possible the fluorescent paint that you paint in stripes and always in the same direction.
