Characteristics of flying lanterns

Originally this product was used in the Asian continent to make wishes.

Over time, it has spread to the European market.

The flying lanterns are rice paper lanterns with a frame made of bamboo and a cardboard pill for fuel. Our flying lanterns are respectful towards the environment, complying with all the necessary safety requirements for their use. We have SGS security certificates at your disposal.

How do flying lanterns work?

The flying lanterns have a cardboard pill inside that must be lit on all four sides while we hold the lantern. 

Igniting the fuel heats the air inside the flying lantern, thereby lowering the density and causing it to rise into the sky. The flying lantern will stay in the air for the duration of the wick, approximately 8-10 minutes.

In addition to the flying lanterns, we recommend using paper lamps and luminous bracelets at your event. 

Are flying lanterns dangerous?

Before using a flying lantern, it is recommended that you read these safety recommendations carefully. It is very important to use common sense when using this product.

1- It is not a game. Keep away from children.

2- Always use in open spaces. Never, under any circumstances, should it be used indoors closed spaces. Do not launch in case of rain or strong winds. Check that the area where you want to use it is open enough. Avoid power cables, trees, or buildings near the site.

3- It is recommended to have water or a fire extinguisher nearby.

4- The launching of flying lanterns is totally prohibited within the airspace. They should not be used within a 15 / 20km radius from an airport.
